While visiting Sydney, I wanted to head to Observatory Hill as I had this kind of shot in mind with some nice light in. When I left the hotel to head to this location, it started raining...and I didn't have an umbrella. I just got wet. Also, I forgot my large jacket so I got cold too! Anyway, as I got toward this location I knew the light would pop out from behind the cloud soon so I probably ran the last 500m to make sure I got there in time. As it turns out it was probably another 10 minutes or so until this light came out. I was a bit worried I had metered the scene wrong as my light meter was giving me similar readings when the sun was out as to when it wasn't. Anyway, I went with my gut feeling and got it spot on!
