This photo has a bit of a story behind it.....After photographing at Terrigal for sunrise I received a text message off my wife asking if I could get some eggs on the way home so we could make pancakes. I entered into the Sat Nav to find the closest store and it sent me to North Avoca store. As I arrived at the store I noticed a rainbow appear. I went into the store to purchase the eggs (as well as some maple syrup) and as I walked out of the store the rainbow was still there! I jumped in the car and raced toward the direction I thought the beach was. I jumped out of the car, grabbed my gear, and ran for the beach. I quickly found a composition, setup, metered the scene and fired off a shot! This was the first time I had captured a rainbow on film and the third time while photographing a landscape scene!
