We visited Carew Falls on our way from Arthurs Pass to Greymouth. We went the long way around. We thought the falls didn't exist as we just drove and drove and couldn't find them! Eventually we did though. The walk to these waterfalls is weird. In my experience you usually walk down to most waterfalls....this was quite a steep walk up to them! When we got there they were flowing really quick and it was too unsafe to get in the water to photograph them. There was also heaps of water spray. It was also fairly clear skies (which was not forecast) which isn't ideal for waterfall photography. Anyway, seeing as we had made it there I decided to take one film frame.
