Classic Motukiekie

Motukiekie Beach is just north of Greymouth on New Zealand's west coast. This beach is well known for two rock shelves where, at low tide, starfish are visible. This place really is a seasacpe photographers paradise! There are other rock shelves with mussels on and a green appearance and these 'stacks' in the ocean.
There are only a few days a month where the low tide coincides with sunset and we were fortunate enough to be there for those conditions.
