Sunflower mission

Sunflower mission

Chi and I headed out west a few weekends ago to photograph some sunflower fields. We had visions of numerous wide fields of sunflowers blowing in the breeze.....that's not what we found! We came across 5 fields....two were inaccessible and the other two were almost all dead. We did find one field where about 1 in 8 or so flowers were alive. This didn't allow for an extensive landscape photo as I had hoped but we were fortunate enough to photograph some lone backlit sunflowers. I hope you enjoy!
