This photo was captured on 1st January 2018 at Point Cartwright.
Isn't the world strange at the moment? For the health and safety of others it is best that we limit our interaction and movement. It means that even though there is lots of time for photography (as pretty much everything except work is cancelled), local Public Health Orders do not permit it.
If you would have told me a few months ago that we would be restricted to home confinement (other than work) for a period of time, my initial thoughts would have been 'great, I can do heaps of photo editing' but as almost 3 weeks has passed, tonight is the first time I have managed to find the time!
Although I expect home confinement to last many months, and the work I do to become busy and challenging in the not too distant future, hopefully we will all obtain a new appreciation for the freedoms we once had, such as being able to venture out to photograph! In the meantime I will try to edit some older work which is hidden away in my photography archives.
