I headed to Cape Banks with Jack Chauvel while visiting Sydney. It was a great outing and a great sunset.
What drew me to capture this scene was the tiny waterfall in the foreground and slightly left of centre. I just loved watching the water flow through there. I remember waiting a little while to press the shutter because either the movement was not that good or there was a gust of wind which splattered my camera/lens/filters with sea spray! Fun times, fun times.
This is the first shot I have taken on Velvia which I have colour corrected for the usual purple cast. I feel it looks better with these more natural colours.
