On the 'Ekka public holiday (in August) I headed down to Bowen Bridge Road to take some photos. I have wanted to photograph this spot for a while and I've always seen a lot of photographers at this location during the 'Ekka. There weren't as many people there as I thought there might on this particular evening.

I decided to take my film and digital gear (actually I took 3 cameras!). I thought it would be tough to get a decent film shot here and I had no idea whether any shots would turn out. As it turns out they did!
