I took this photo during a family holiday to Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road in December 2015. On this particular day, there was some light whispy cloud in the sky all day. As sunset approached, the cloud thickened. I had planned to head to this location for sunset and ventured out this particular evening. As I got down to the beach at Gibsons steps, conditions were quite flat. As I looked toward the western horizon I could see a small gap in the clouds. I waited patiently....and as the sun peaked through the clouds I was blessed with the cliff being lit up by this awesome light. It truly was a fantastic afternoon of photography.
