Where does the path go?

This photo was taken at Palm Cove, near Cairns just after sunrise. I have titled this 'where does the path go' as I don't know where it goes. I saw it and it appears straight but I didn't follow it to actually see.....I suppose there is a life lesson in there also.....our path may appear straight but if we don't follow it we won't know.
