What a difference the light makes...

What a difference the light makes...

I shot this image last Sunday afternoon. My mate Chi and I went for a drive up to Mount Mee. This was not the first time I had been up there, but it was for Chi. It is amazing how the light on a scene like this can make such a difference. About 15 minutes after this shot Chi and I were racing around to find a vantage point to shoot a nice orb sun at sunset. We drove past this spot and I said 'This is where we were shooting before...' to which Chi replied 'Really?'. It just looked dull and flat.
