This shot was taken on an 8 day photography trip around Tasmania with a mate in July 2012.

We woke this particular morning to rain. We drove down to Dove Lake and it was still raining! We waited in the car for over 30 minutes. On previous occasions I had visited Dove Lake it was quite windy and thus lake reflections were not possible. I was hoping that this time we would have nice a still lake and could capture some reflections. We really were blessed that morning. Not only did the rain stop at the right time but we were provided with fantastic reflections and later that morning some awesome light hit the top of Cradle Mountain.
