Light through the fog

Light through the fog

This shot was taken near Stanthorpe on Queensland's Granite Belt. It was taken during a 6 day autumn adventure in April 2014.

This particular morning didn't really know where to head out as we hadn't had much chance to scout the area. We decided we would head to Storm King Dam (as I had been there previously). Rather than heading the most direct route there, we decided to take Mount Tully road. The rationale was that hopefully we could get some elevation and photograph fog over the lake or in a valley. We drove most of the way along Mount Tully road and all we saw was thick, dense bushland. However, as we continued on our adventure suddenly some farming land appeared...and there was fog! It was awesome. We pulled over, grabbed out gear and started photographing!
